In 2017 our founder, Bridget Fizer, became a fashion design instructor at Houston Community College. Her unique way of teaching design expanded into life lessons from the God-Vision side of fashion. Today, Beauty & Fashion in Purpose Workshop & Fashion Show is dedicated to keeping God foremost in vision planning.

One of our philosophies is simple - we believe that God has chosen some to establish the mind of Him on the earth through fashion. We are committed to encouraging, edifying, and supporting designers. We also believe that fashion should be an expression of your God life, which is why we offer insight from a wide range of fashion avenues.

Named after the biblical figure Dorcas, whose skilled hands crafted garments with both purpose and compassion, this scholarship honors her legacy by nurturing the next generation of creatives who view fashion as more than just aesthetics—it's a means of expression and service

At the heart of the Dorcas Scholarship Program and VBS for Creatives lies a deep understanding of the profound intersection between faith and fashion. Just as Dorcas used her talents to clothe those in need, we believe that fashion can be a vessel for spreading love, kindness, and spirituality. Through this program, we aim to inspire and equip young designers, seamstresses, stylists, and entrepreneurs to infuse their work with meaning, integrity, and a commitment to making a positive impact on their communities and the world at large.

If you're 16+ and called to create, this 5-night experience is for you. We will have personal Zoom visits, each night, from a Fashion Executive/Designer that is an expert in their field! They will be ready to answer your questions and share insight from an experienced POV!
